Cashier

We are looking for an efficient, courteous Cashier who possesses excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate must manage all transactions with customers accurately, provide helpful information to customers regarding products, promotions, or item location. The goal is to provide high class customer service.

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet customers
Must be able to operate scanners, scales, cash registers, and computer.
The Cashier will scan the customer’s selections, ensure that prices and quantities are accurate, accept payments, issue receipts & answer enquiries.
Accurately take customer orders via phone or email, verify delivery information and assign orders to delivery personnel
maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards and assist with Restocking shelves
keep up to date with new product information

Accurately describe product features and benefits to customers

Requirements

Previous experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales required,
General PC Knowledge; Familiarity with electronic equipment like cash register and POS
Excellent verbal communication and time management skills
Good telephone manner
Customer satisfaction-oriented
A professional appearance.
Must be upbeat, outgoing and have a positive attitude
Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints.
Minimum education requirement: GCSEs
