The body is a smaller version of Hummingbird's typical square shoulder shape, with a bridge that has a strong presence, sound holes and inlays decorated with Avalon, and gold parts, giving it a look full of character. The side backs are made of rosewood. Unlike the thick, elegant sound of the D-28, which also uses rosewood, the midrange is rather full, and although the bass is good, it is not too thick with a nice sharpness. It has a freshness as a Gibson, but the nuance with a sense of attack typical of Gibson is asserted well, and it sounds good because it is played moderately. The balance is very good. As the name suggests, this is a guitar that will appeal to those who sing.
There are some scratches and dings on the bottom of the top and binding. There are also some minor dings on the back.
