About the Firm:

FCLLP is a firm specialized in providing auditing, tax and business consultancy services in the Maldives.

Job Position:

FCLLP is currently looking for an Senior Audit Associate. This position offers to be involved in providing clients with external audit and assurance services with the opportunity to develop their technical knowledge and methodology  at one of the leading audit firms in the Maldives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning audit engagements and audit strategies
• Performing audit procedures as per the firm’s audit program
• Preparing audit working papers and documenting the audit findings
• Performing special assignments such as non-assurance engagements, preparing business plans, etc.
• Overseeing retainer client’s bookkeeping and assist/advise with maintaining accounts
• Preparing and filing of client’s tax returns
• Advising the client on issues pertaining to taxation

Qualification:

•  Bachelors/Masters in Accounting & Finance or equivalent.

Experience

• 2 year experience in related field.

Competencies:

• Applied working knowledge of Accounting procedures, International 
  Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on 
  Auditing (ISA)
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Ability to handle pressure, work long hours, and meet critical deadlines
• Computer literate with working knowledge on Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in 
   English
• Ability to work independently with multiple priorities and meet 
  challenging deadlines
• Being familiar with accounting software (Odoo, QuickBooks, etc.) 
  will be an added advantage

Remuneration:

• MVR 16,000-20,000 monthly, depending on experience.
• Other benefits as per firm policies.
